Limbo is a gripping blend of stark, haunting landscapes, bizarre characters and unsettling sounds. With clever puzzle design, an intriguing narrative and an excellent touch-screen control system, it’s as rewarding to play as it is interesting to look at and listen to.

Perfect game

Everything about this game is perfect. The level of difficulty is just the right balance between frustration and rewarding, there’s no repetitive tasks every little segment is its own unique challenge that is different enough from the last that you need to stop and think about how to solve it and what exactly it is that needs solving. You’re never forced to restart the task too far back and so you don’t find yourself repeating huge chunks of game play to get get back to the same point. The graphics are simple yet beautiful and totally Immersive. The controls are intuitive and easy to work out. My only minor complaint was that the ending was not as satisfying as I’d hoped. It’s slightly confusing and doesn’t conclude or explain much at all... but then that didn’t make it any less fun to play.

A masterpiece!

Quite simply a masterpiece, a work of art and utter brilliance and at times disturbing. This game came from the mind of a genius, there are moments where the sound and setting evoke such a feeling of being somewhere sinister and foreboding and I’ve never felt quite like it, it has the same effect on me that blade runner did, it’s not often a piece of entertainment transports you so completely to another world and it upsets me to see negative reviews on a game so brilliant and based on controls that quite frankly aren’t that difficult to master. Shame on you, you don’t deserve such brilliance.
