Literal Word exists to promote the word of God and not much else. No ads. No articles. No distractions. Simply the Word. We believe that the Bible contains the most important information that anyone could ever come across and that accessing it should be as easy as possible.
This belief has driven every decision we've made designing Literal Word. The app is 100% free and functional even when you're offline. The NASB 1995, LSB, ESV, and KJV translations of the Bible were selected for faithfully utilizing a word-for-word instead of a thought-for-thought translation method. Each passage of the Bible is clean, customizable, and convenient to access, allowing the reader to focus exclusively on the God-breathed content. Word searches are simple but powerful, featuring a unique visual interface for organizing results with precision, and complete lexicons for original Hebrew and Greek words can be viewed with just a couple taps.
It really comes down to the fact that a straightforward approach to a Bible app maximizes attention to the word of God.

The best Bible app by far!
I absolutely love this app for study and I’ve been using it for about 2 years now. Recently there has been an update and now it includes not just the NASB95, but also ESV, LSB, and KJV! I have been wanting an LSB Bible for a while since it came out, and now I can still use my favourite app to read it, as well as the ESV which I also use! The perfect Bible app for the modern Reformer 🙌🏼😉

I don’t normally write a review but it was hard to find a half decent Bible app the looks and feels ascetically as good as this one does. The options in settings are plenty yet not overdone. The app is not jittery and buggy. And other cross references are easy to get to and get back from when returning to original scripture. Very happy with this design. Thank you.
Just downloaded, it’s amazing!
I just found this app recently and before downloading this app I was looking at a word I was unfamiliar with ‘Thresh’ and googled it without the app and it meant ‘trample’ I found this app and it got the same meaning with extra details.
It was so simple to use and easily gave definitions to words and explanations for what each word could mean.
I am so glad I found it, I just downloaded it now and found nothing bad to talk about it!
