Long Journey of Life 9+

I was intrigued by this, I probably should have read the description.
I thought there may have been some interactivity with life choices. But unfortunately there was not.

The sound and music is beautiful, but all you do is keep your finger to the right of your screen.

This killed a little bit of time, and alot of my battery. I don't regret the experience, but I definitely don't think it is worth the price I paid.

When I saw this app, I was intrigued by both the graphics and the idea.

The idea is simple and no journey will generally take you more than 10 minutes, but what it represents is an interesting and in many ways emotional event. For those intrigued by the idea, the boats are metaphors for various lives.

Whilst I was drifting through the sea, my little boat would encounter various events or things, which on the surface didn't seem like a big deal, until you equate them to yourself. As an older iPad user, this might have more meaning for me, than someone younger, but only because I've experienced more.

I find it strange how, very quickly I became attached to the idea of the boat and what happened to it. For instance, when you've become married and had a child, or you see you partner stop near the end of your life, you realise the milestones are more than just images.

So for all those intrigued about a journey of life, this is the app for you and which is why I have given it 5 stars. Well done to developer, for looking past the complex and encapsulating the idea of life into an interesting and intriguing app.

I do not rate apps as many do don’t deliver. However Long Journey is a simple but a great visual experience which is very strong in its concept and leaves you wondering at each stage of the pattern of life. Each person can relate it to their experience of their own lives. The game is so simple but makes you wonder at the end. I enjoy new concepts but this one delivers.
