Don’t give up on new format
The old format of the app (that you’ve just returned to) has a few issues (no slow or fast, can’t sort by name, gifs don’t work etc)
The newer format, for me, was so much better, but was just missing a couple of bits from the old format, like trimming the video before adding it.
Rather than giving up on the new one, and just returning to the old one, could you not add the missing things from the old one?
I paid for lifetime pro just a few weeks ago, so was happy enough with the old format, but we had a sneak preview of what the app could be, and then are told you’ve listened to the community and gone backwards - doesn’t make sense to me.
Very good actually
As the title says, it’s very good, straight to the point and there’s only ads when you finish a video. I do miss the option where the video played when you left the app and went elsewhere as the pip mode, other than that, it’s awesome.
Gave up after half an hour
I just had a 10 second video that I wanted to play normally, then for it play in reverse, and keep looping (like Boomerang). I managed to get that effect to work in the app, but couldn’t get it to export to Photos (it just saved the original 10 second video, with no sound for some reason). I watched the tutorials etc and then decided during all that time I’d wasted I could have done the same thing in iMovie by now, so gave up and deleted the app (after watching some terrible ads). The UI is just too confusing and the tutorial videos are awful.
