Someone finally made the app I’ve been thinking of
Although I hate that they created the app I’d not been brave enough to build, this is exactly the sort of app I had in mind. One which provides me with all the features I need to make and event and more just like in Facebook except without me worrying about privacy…

This app is so easy to use and with just a simple link your event is created. It’s easier on the eye than a Facebook event and we’ll designed.
I created an event and was able to get quick responses from my friends from a simple, shareable link.
Will definitely be using it for all my future events.

Love the app - really easy to plan an event and not have to rely on Facebook for people to see it. Format is great and really intuitive, also love being able to share photos within the group. Will definitely be using again!
