Great App for quick reads

I often don’t get time to read through a lot of books and even if you have time you may not be able to read as many books as this app allows you to, quickly. Certainly it’s obvious that summarisation does lead some content loss but that’s fine. Plus the content is nicely presented as pictures. So it’s much easier to scroll through. Much better utilisation of time compared to wasting time on Instagram.
Only reason I gave it 4 star is because of the high monthly cost. If they reduce it that will be great.

Looks Good, but a bit disingenuous

Look and feel of the app looks good, promises much. Takes you through a process of determining personal preferences for learning etc…… then hits you with its pricing packages…… there is no content access without a subscription. To suggest that it comes with ‘in app’ purchases, suggests there might be some basic content which you can try to see if the approach suits you/your learning preferences, but there isn’t. It should be clear right from the start that this is an app you have to buy. Have no problem with that (although I think the price is a bit high), but just be honest. I think it’s disingenuous to suggest otherwise to draw people in then hit them with the ‘lost labour’ neuroscience trait, which means by the time you’ve jumped through all their hoops, your tempted just to buy, rather than waste the effort.

Nah - see right through that one. Shame though, looked like a good app.

A small change that might have a huge impact on product

Hi team.

Thanks for this lovely app. I was enjoying it for sometime. Learned a lot and love it. It is my new everyday app.

However, I realised that I am only focusing on the text part of the slides and ignoring most of the drawings below the text (no matter how creative, aesthetic or joyful)

I wondered why than I think I might found something interesting.

Let’s put in this way;

Every slide has a message to deliver. Text does that mission with words. And images underneath does it very good with graphics. But the problem was the text and image were not sharing the messages different parts, instead they are trying to deliver same message with words and graphical ways.

What if they could share the message that slide needs to deliver and it would not be so easy to get that message if you remove text or illustrations from that slides.

So they can duet and deliver one single message together but almost nonsense when they observed separately.

Just a thought. Love it so much anyway
