• "Chiaroscuro is one of my favourite words, so what luck that upcoming point and click adventure game Luna The Shadow Dust has such a focus on light and shadows, giving me a tangential excuse to use it." - Rock, Paper, Shotgun
• "There are few games as engrossing as well-made point &click puzzle adventures—nothing catches my eye quite like the intersection of intellectual challenge and stellar artwork." - cliquist.com
• "Puzzles are promised, but the preeminent draw of this title is evident from the outset: its staggering art, complemented by its loftily luminescent music." - gamepilgrim.com
• "The amazing, hand-drawn artwork — inefficiently, but so remarkably gliding and flowing, almost hypnotic." - bigbossbattle.com

Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really enjoying this lovely game, not sure I can follow the story other than a friendship between the two characters but I’m probably tired at the min, I’m sure there is a story, the gameplay is absolutely superb and is what makes this game so enjoyable. The puzzles change from scene to scene keeping you intrigued and the graphics are so cute, I love the scenery and characters, I don’t want it to ever end! Well worth every penny and more!!

Ingenious but…

I do like the puzzles, they are quite ingenious! Part of the puzzle is working out what the puzzle is. The characters are cute and funny in how they slowly move around. But then that gets boring and annoying when you have to repeatedly do the same movements again and again while waiting for them to cutely move slowly, as you build up to how you solve the puzzle. Then, when you take a break and come back the next day, you have to start the room again from scratch! This is especially true of the shadows in the office room where the cat gets repeatedly knocked off the shelf. Very frustrating, like an action platform game which is the wrong type of puzzle game. I’ll give it a few more tries but if I can’t finish this room I will just give up because it’s not a test of puzzle solving, it’s a test of dexterity until you can get into the right position. Others may like this mixture but personally I like to solve the puzzle and not ‘lose’ because I can’t react quick enough. Shame as the puzzles up to this room were very engaging.

I’ve got past the shadow office and I’m afraid I have now reduced this to 2 stars. Why? The looong dull cut scenes! I’m sorry but I just want to do the puzzles and get on with it. I bought a game, not a mini series! If this is the future of ‘immersive’ puzzles then I don’t like it! I appreciate the effort that’s gone into this but give the purchaser some warning or allow them to skip the ‘art’. Honestly? It’s worse than having to sit through adverts!
