Description
Calculate the amount of daylight in your home.
Use the application LUXMETER to determine quickly and easily the intensity of light. Hold you telephone with the display facing upward and see the luminosity values in different rooms. The application will immediately show you whether the luminosity in a given space meets the recommended values.
For new measurements, press ‘Pause’ and then ‘Play’
The application measures and displays guiding values of luminosity in lux (lx). It needs authorization for camera and contains no advertising. It can only be used in devices with iOS version 15.1 or higher. It is optimized for iPhone 13.

All you need
It does what it says it does. Simply, easily and clearly. I use it for Health and Safety checks regarding lighting levels and the surprising difference between artificial light and natural light. Superb app.
Comparison with proper light meter
I used this to measure the lux from a new light therapy lamp. It reads approx 600 lux where the lamp manufacturer was claiming 10,000 lux. A neighbour who is a lighting designer tested the lamp with his professional kit at 13,000 lux. I shall now delete this app
700 lux max?
Only seems to go up to 700 lux, so can’t use it to compare indoor/outdoor light levels
