Great app to control Sonos from your watch

There are very few apps out there to control Sonos from you Apple Watch. I was surprised to find out this one has most of the functions you’d need to control your Sonos system. It doesn’t just allow you to skip songs and change the volume, but grouping speakers and changing playlists are also included. You can even send a recorded message from your watch to a speaker! The UI is clean and simple to use, you can customise some of the elements shown (i.e.: remove the artwork background on the song that it’s playing).

The only thing I found annoying is that every time I raise my wrist to skip a song or set the volume I need to select the room first. Not sure why it cannot stay on the room I had selected before. Is there an update for this coming soon?

Update: after my initial impressions below (which are only partially answered by the developer) I have updated to 5 stars. The app really does work very well indeed. A a one off price is also good.

I’m afraid I haven’t used this yet. The 1 star is just out of a frustrating 30 minutes wasted try to work out the cost of in app purchases and what any of them mean. There are 3 IAPs with exactly the same description and different prices. I didn’t understand the two others either. So I checked the website. No help. So I decided to email using the contact email. Wrote email but the email address doesn’t work. Argh. So I took a leap of faith based on the good reviews. If I find I need more IAPs I will write this off and delete. If I’m being daft in some way I will revise my rating. Help please.

It's paid upfront so you can use all its great features for one price. The in-app purchase is a tip that can be sent if you enjoy using the app. I don't want to make subscriptions so this is what I chose

Works very well

I was surprised how well this works. I thought it may just start and stop music or something simple. In fact you can do an awful lot. From picking playlists, radio station and much in general to grouping, uncoupling rooms and adjusting volume (just rotate the crown on side of watch). I really couldn’t ask for more. Only issue is no being able to use well whilst in the shower but that is due to the fact Apple Watch faces not respond when wet, so no issue with the app.
