Subscribers to the paper edition have complimentary access (need registration for access). Otherwise, it is free from the day you install the App until the end of the month; then you can subscribe online or buy each month through the App store. Excellent

Only reason I give this 4 not 5 stars is that I too occasionally have problems downloading an edition. The content of the app is 5* without a doubt.

I subscribe to the paper version and as such I get each edition of the app for free during my subscription.

The Magnificat is absolutely INDISPENSIBLE on a day to day basis. My parish subscribes and uses it for daily Mass. That is only the start though. Filled also with prayers and meditations and lots of other interesting info I highly recommend you try just one copy so you can see what I mean!!!!

Other excellent Catholic apps include Universalis and EWTN.

A great app

I have the hard copy subscription but the app is also convenient on the go. I would agree with others that it is often difficult to download each new month. I often have to delete and then re-download in order to renew content. I hope the app is updated very soon to be compatible with iOS 11!!

A great app

This is simply a God send but it is also tedious in the extreme to make it download correctly. I have often had to pay twice because it didn't download correctly first time. Itunes always refund however a bit more work and a great app can become a must have excellent app.
