So simple and practical, great to make full use of that home bar you never touch- only giving 4 stars because the personal bar section has some limitations (certain items can’t be added) - otherwise very convenient & accessible to beginners to mixing drinks

Excellent app with some minor issues

Updated review: originally I found the ads to be intrusive, but have since discovered they can be removed for a small amount of money as a one off payment. Having done this the app is a lot more useable. It’s been great to try different cocktails and help with ingredients shopping. A couple of minor things I’ve noticed. The tab navigation resets when I visit another tab. For example if I’m on the “My bar” tab and viewing a cocktail then go to the “search” tab and back to the “My bar” tab it takes me back to the root of the tab. I’ve also had server errors when attempting to create a list and been prompted to login when tapping on “swap it so you can make it”. Other than these small fixable issues the app has been great since removing the ads. Original review title: Intrusive ads. Original review: I’ve used the website and thought I’d try the app. Initial impressions were it’s easier to use than the site. The ads are ridiculous though. Full screen ads which can only be skipped after 5 seconds.

As an avid cocktail drinker I’m really looking forward to getting into this app. First sight looks very promising. I’ve dropped a star because of just one thing: the app adopts the rather odd American habit of measuring liquids by weight rather than volume. Weighing out three quarters of an ounce of gin is difficult and inconvenient, my scales and weights just aren’t small enough. Please could we have the option to switch recipes to the much more convenient millilitre measurements instead, or just list both? As with most Europeans, I’ve got lots of those!

We're actually in the process of changing this to a standardised ml version. Working on the classics at first and then rolling out to all the cocktails. Sorry about that - but it's in the works and will seamlessly change! Anything else let us know. Thanks .... which weve now done for all the classic cocktails!
