Use Makitra on iPhone, iPad and MacOS (Mx computers)!
Makitra(*) is a simple, intuitive electronic recipe book. This is a substitute for the paper notebook with recipes that many housewives and home cooks have or had.
The application allows you to write down recipes, make notes on them, edit them based on your taste preferences or the characteristics of the products of the region, and share recipes with friends or relatives.
The main task of the application is to be simple, convenient and not overloaded with unnecessary functions.
Features:
- adding your photo to the description of the recipe;
- automatic calculation of ingredients amount, if you need to cook more / less than 1 serving;
- adding any number of recipes;
- grouping recipes into different categories;
- support of the cooking process:
- you can mark the stages that have already been completed;
- set a timer directly in the application and receive a notification when the time is up;
- simultaneous preparation of several dishes, with control over what has already been done in which recipe and what has not.
- sharing recipes via AirDrop or email;
Use it on iPhone, iPad and MacOS on Mx computers (recipe list is synchronized via iCloud).
* Makіtra is a national Ukrainian cone-shaped bowl made of clay, in which poppy seeds were ground, dough came up or various products were crushed.

While I am preparing a bigger update, in this version I made asking for app rate screen less annoying :)

Great app for recipe collection
I have been using this app for several months now and have found it to be perfect for my needs. I had tried many other apps before this but they did not work as well as this one has.

Love this app but…
I love having all my favourite recipes on my I-pad that I can take anywhere. I love the layout of the pages, I can put a little description and my own photo of the result, although I wish I could make the photo a ‘tad’ bigger to show off the finished piece. Also I wish I could categorise the recipe i.e cakes, soups etc. But overall…LUV IT!

Thank you very much for your review! I will add ability to save bigger photo in some of the next versions.
About categorizing - when you edit a recipe, you can tap on button "Select groups" under photo, and choose categories, like "First courses" or "Desserts" etc. It is a fixed list of categories so far.
Also, later you can filter list of recipes by these categories - on main screen tap on Filter icon button and choose the category.
