Manta Story 4+

A wonderful learning experience about manta rays. I enjoyed seeing the digital ray demonstrating natural behaviours, which I have not had the opportunity to do in real life.

I have some (hopefully) constructive criticism. On some occasions, the music drowned out the voiceover at the start of the chapters, and sometimes there was a black screen when you moved onto the next chapter so I’d have to restart. I also spotted a typo on the ‘feeding’ chapter: ‘mana’ rather than ‘manta’. I think the voiceover could signpost to the written information at times, such as on the feeding chapter where it says that their feeding techniques depended on various factors, but doesn’t expand on them. I personally didn’t spot that there was the fascinating written information until my third viewing.

Overall though, a great app worthy of 5 stars!

This is a game is a a must-try experience for all.

This app is a great way to learn about manta ray biology, ecology and threats from the comfort of your own home. It is interactive, engaging, and fun. The visuals are incredible! Great work from the Manta Trust and Four Seasons!
