A PT in your pocket!

I can’t fault this app at all, there is so much content here and Mark has set out well structured programs that enable you to safely build up strength and flexibility. I’ve been using this for around 3 months and my back pain has resolved after completing the prep programme. I am now progressing through body weight 2.0 and I can feel gentle progression that keeps me coming back day after day. I hope to move onto the HIIT programme and the daily workouts eventually but be warned some of the EFX workout outs look really tough, in a good way! Using this alongside a healthy diet is sure way to get results.

Body weight at all levels

Mark Lauren knows his stuff. This app is packed with exercises for all abilities, with special routines for swimmers, runners, or those getting back into a routine after a break.
Most of the exercises have a clear tutorial, but if you need more then Mark and Leah manage the community and answer questions quickly.

There are tips on managing your diet, longer 90-day or 12 week programmes to follow or daily routines to try. Honestly, the content here is well worth the subscription if you chose to pay for full access.

I have used this app for the past 10-11 months and had the older YAYOG Version for years, which I used on and off when I couldn’t get out for a run. If you are looking for an alternative to the gym and want to workout without having to invest in expensive kit and equipment, this is the place to start.

For me is the best app to learn or re-learn on how to use bodyweight training to improve yourself

I bought years ago a copy of Mark Lauren’s “You are your own gym” book and I found that great, thorough and effective.

This app in my opinion is very well structured and the progressions are carefully planned, beginner , intermediate or advanced can choose easily their path of well being accordingly.

I like the fact that Mark is showing every single exercise and performing the workouts while explaining the key points for every single movement.

Another thing to take into consideration is the attention to warm up and cool down for every single workout: having been a swimmer in a competitive team during my teenage years I can confirm these two are really important as well as the workouts themselves.
