Markdown Editor 4+

A nice UI with a consise, useful set of formatting tools. I was looking for something that just does the job and this is it.

Preview can be set to reload automatically or on refresh and can show either strict markdown formatting or the "enhanced" Github style, which is a nice touch. It has a dark mode, which is a nice feature.

All in all, perfect markdown editor that I was up and running with in under a minute.

I recently switched to mac from linux, and so my previous markdown editor (apostrophe) which I got used to for notes, to documents, to a small novel became incompatible. I tried almost every editor on the app store, or online, and this was the best one I came across. It's simple but offers all the features expected of a markdown editor, with no clutter, no unnecessary features, and a nice preview window that allows rich text copy/paste.

My only gripe is that settings don't seem to save properly, options like spelling and grammer disable themselves between documents, and you can't actually select a different colour scheme.

I wanted a simple editor to practice using Markdown. That's what I've found here. It is possible to hide the toolbar, which leaves a simple split window - input on the left and preview output on the right. Perfect.
