Description

The Masimo Halo App works with two different monitoring systems: Opioid Halo and Masimo SafetyNet Alert.

In the United States, Masimo has launched Opioid Halo, the first and only FDA-Authorized device to alert you in the event of an overdose. Opioid Halo is an opioid overdose prevention and alert system*, and provides real-time monitoring to identify the risk of accidental overdose – slowed or stopped breathing. The system sends alerts to your loved ones and designated emergency contacts, followed by a wellness call that may lead to EMS being dispatched. Opioid Halo includes an advanced pattern recognition algorithm to continuously monitor the risk of overdose and send escalating alerts when help is needed.

Know when to take action with Opioid Halo:
• Alert Level 1: Caution – Notifies via Masimo Halo app and Home Medical Hub
• Alert Level 2: Warning – Notifies you and other designated contacts via text message
• Alert Level 3: Emergency – Triggers an automated wellness call that may lead to EMS being dispatch

In Europe, Canada and Saudi Arabia, Masimo SafetyNet Alert is an oxygen monitoring and alert system that continuously monitors physiological data – even during sleep – to identify respiratory depression. The system sends escalating alerts to you and your loved ones if blood oxygen levels decline, raising awareness when help is needed.

Know when to take action with Masimo SafetyNet Alert:
• Alert Level 1: Caution – Notifies via Masimo Halo app and Home Medical Hub
• Alert Level 2: Warning – Notifies you and sends automatic texts to designated contacts
• Alert Level 3: Emergency – Notifies you again and sends automatic texts to designated contacts

***Requires purchase of Opioid Halo in the US and Masimo SafetyNet Alert OUS, sold separately***

Opioid Halo and Masimo SafetyNet Alert are powered by clinically proven Masimo SET® – the same advanced signal processing technology trusted by doctors to monitor more than 200 million patients each year.

*Opioid Halo continuously monitors certain physiological parameters that are indicative of opioid-induced respiratory depression – a sign of opioid overdose – in order to alert users and their emergency contacts so that action can be taken to avoid adverse consequences of an overdose.

A bit more expected from Masimo

Generally good app which i hope will improve. I do miss the trend. For a 10 hrs recording only the minimum, average and maximum values are shown. A trend view should be added so users can see when the desaturation happens.
Bigger problem is the loss of audio connection with AirPods3. Every time i start using the app, my Airpods stops working and audio connection cannot be restored until the iphone is restarted. Which is quite annoying. It is a brand new device so i hope this will improve.
