Great App but needs updating
I have the upgraded version and contacted Master Gas about the App freezing whenever I go to the Help Centre on my IPad. It’s says loading then freezes, but this has still not been resolved?
If like me you cannot always take your device onto a site and need to fill out the certificate at a later date, you cannot change the inspection date. You must open the certificate on that day and if you don’t the inspection date cannot be changed although you can change the sign off date of both customer and engineer?
You have to be carful about the number of characters you use were ever you detail actions work or defects. There is no character limit so you can type what ever you want but it will not all show on the certificate. This is annoying and can be potentially used against you by your customer as specifics of your recommendations can easily be missed off. Especially if like me you itemise your comments. Why doesn’t the box expand to match character count. The attached number of sheets to a certificate doesn’t matter. Missed off information does!
Apart from these issues the App is good, but I am disappointed that after using this app now for some time I still have the same issues. Please update this app to allow them to be resolved.
I've tried many other 'gas apps' and Master Gas for me is by far the best.
I have been using Master Gas for several years now and without a doubt it is by far the easiest and most adaptable gas engineer software out there.
Occasionally a new 'app' will appear in the App Store with free trial periods and I will happily give them a try but always find them cumbersome or lacking in features.
Master Gas ticks all the boxes.
Forms - (Job-sheet, Gas Safety Records, Gas Breakdown/Service Record, Maintenance Checklist, Commissioning Checklist, Warning Notices....)
Accounting - (Invoicing, Payment Received, Outstanding Invoices, Estimates/Quotes, Expenses, Mileage.....)
One of my favourite features and alone is worth the subscription cost of the 'App' is Reminders, never miss a boiler service again. Servicing is our 'bread and butter' work and we need to keep on top of them for the safe and efficient operation of the customers gas appliances.
The customer services is first class to with any issues being responded to promptly. The developer is always open to new ideas for features within the app.
I can honestly say my admin work has been simplified since using Master Gas and frees up time to do other things.

I’ve been using mastergas since 2013 so think I’m one of the early users. Disregard any reviews giving less than 4 stars as disgruntled or disingenuous. These reviews are definitely not a true reflection of this app. Personally I can only commend the developer. One stop app covering all aspects from certs to invoicing to the diary.
Not sure where I’d be without this app. Really does make running a small business hell of a lot easier. Support has always been fantastic and the app is updated regularly often with additional features requested by actual engineers. Where Mastergas leads, others try to follow. Full on 5 stars from me 👍
