Maxi-Cosi Connected Home 4+

I got the maxi cosi soothe and sound for my 22 month old to help her settle herself at bedtime. I liked the idea I could connect the machine to my phone as well to control it and the settings. Firstly the maxi cosi soothe and sound is very neutral in appearance and blends in well with any decor. The monitor is very very easy to use my 6 and 8 year old could use it right away. There is a very impressive selection of music and sounds from lullabies to sounds of the forest, sea and womb to name a few. The selection of light colours is very good too and the dimmer is great for those times when you want to check on the baby without breaking your neck in the dark. It did take me awhile to connect the smart features to my phone but that was not down to the device it was my internet provider had to change to 2.4 from 5. The monitor still worked perfectly without the app but still handy to have the smart element as there are additional features. As the title says my older children love the monitor too and have asked to use it when the baby is asleep.

Easy to use app for the Maxi Cosi light and soothe machine. This soothes my son really well and I love that I can turn it on via the app from my own bed. He loves the lights and sounds. The range of sounds is fantastic; from white noise to nature sounds and city scapes. App is easy to use and I like that there are configurable pre-sets. Hopefully this is something that will last us a long time.

I use this for my See monitor. I have found it great and easy to set up and navigate. However, there appears to be glitches with the sound whenever you leave the sound on in the background for long periods of time (I.e overnight) or when you come back to the app it often disappears. Occasionally I struggle with getting a connection when coming back to the app and have to go back to the main menu to select the monitor again which is frustrating. Love the fact that you can turn the light off the monitor using the app. It’s easy to sort out the settings of the app. Happy that it allows you to leave the noise on in the background so you can continue to use your phone. Wish it had a better way of letting you know about sound notification as when asleep I may miss it and therefore not get to my little one until they are very upset as I won’t hear them. Overall a good app but needs some work.
