Medscape 4+

This is a fantastic app for all specialties but I have never been able to post a comment, the commands just don’t respond. It’s a shame because there are a number of interesting discussions following the varied and interesting research news reports (although a few low quality and pharma funded ones should be dropped) This is very frustrating as sometimes I do feel I have something relevant to contribute. I have asked support many times over several years but have never been provided with a solution. In addition the App seems to have a mind of its own and plugs me into other specialties. It is quite difficult to navigate back to my own. Often I don’t even get a reply from support. Please fix this Medscape.

Brilliant, easily searchable diseases & conditions, and then you realise it also has drugs (including interaction checker), and procedures! What's more the content can be downloaded locally so you can access without a signal.

Main criticism would be the navigation within monographs - say you want to scan through the content, you have to tap back (sometimes a couple of times to get to top menu) and then tap the next section. Would be nice if a button for the appropriate next/previous sections was included in each section. Although would be a lot of text, perhaps an option to view entire monograph would be good?

Also some monographs could do with being a bit more pithy for point-of-care use.

I love Medscape, but I can’t stand the fact that on iPads which cannot support iPad os, we are forced to put up with a version similar to the iphone version, where everything is in one column. Before the ipad version allowed one to see the topics while reading through the article.
