Ratings and Reviews
A great app for young children
I downloaded this app for my 5 year old daughter, who is autistic. After a few minutes of setting up with photos of our family, we were ready to go. There is also an option to record voice messages, which we found very straightforward. My daughter engaged with the app as soon as she saw our pictures and it has quickly become one of her favourites.
The way it works is quite simple - there are a few different games which are all focussed around recognising family members and getting a reward, so for example, if she touches my picture, she hears my voice telling her she’s got it right. It’s very simple for her to use, and I’m hoping it will generally help her to engage with different family members more over time.
I think the app is particularly useful for parents of children with learning or cognitive disabilities, but would also be fun for any child to play. My three year old son who is not autistic also loves playing with it, when he can get it off his sister!
