Ratings and Reviews
Love it! But video's don't flow
Brilliant app, really worth getting - only issue I'm having is the videos don't flow when recording an effect. It looks good on the screen, but when I play it back it stutters and stops like a badly put together giff. Hoping this is just something to do with only just downloading it last night??
Update request
This is always my go-to vfx app, the sheer variety of different effects has always been awesome. My only complaint is that the formula for the UI has changed very little over the years. ,If it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ would be one justification, but I think by now it would be good to be able to flag ‘favourites’ .
Another thing that would notch up the experience would be being able to introduce some chroma key options. I’m thinking about the 3D polygons filter, it’s on a black background, it would be very useful to change the background colour to green or blue. Also in that filter, to be able to scale objects would really help.
Some of the filters never get used, it would be good to hide or remove them.
I’d willingly pay for new/experimental filter packs if they were an option. Currently I swap between apps to generate mandala effects on one app that I then have to import into Megaphoto. With the tablet technology now being far more powerful, it would be good to have features that use the power of the iPad Pro. Consider this a user request.
These are small criticisms, otherwise I’d say it’s the best vfx app on the App Store and runs rings around It’s competitors.

One of the best
The amount of Photographic apps is mind boggling, but most of them are very basic to put it bluntly. MegaPhoto is definitely on a different level and some of the effects are truly mind blowing. I also love the fact that one can actually use some effects to animate still images, brilliant, if you want to incorporate them in a video. I hope the developers keep at it as some good apps have become victims of Apple‘s push for innovation, and they don‘t run on IOS 11.......
Anyway, its 5 stars from me for this highly entertaining app!!!
