Description

Record a video of yourself when you play an instrument or sing, then add more recordings and create your own song. When finished, export video to photo album and share it with your friends. With MelodyLab you can be your own band!

Instructions:
1. Start MelodyLab, select 'New Project' and name it.
2. Select project in list and click 'Open'.
3. When you open your project, the first recording box is already selected. Just tap 'Record' when you are ready to record. When you are done, tap 'Stop'. If you're not satisfied, press record again.
4. Choose another recording box and tap 'Record'. Repeat this procedure until you have filled all the boxes and are satisfied with your recordings.
5. You can re-record any frame in which order you like.
6. Select Play to see your result and maybe adjust volumes.
7. When finished click Export to save video to photo album.

Tip: In settings you can choose which camera and microphone to use. You can also adjust the video quality.
Always use earphones to get rid of feedback/echoing

* You can also start by importing a video from your album. Maybe cooperate with a talented singer/drummer/guitarist?

Saluja!!! ,

Very easy to use but with synch problems

Very straightforward. Options for 2, 9, 16 screens. Easy to record each and easy to record over any you donut want. But screens are irritatingly out of synch - I’m recording songs. I’m using headphones so I’m listening to previous recording to match timing but it’s always out of synch.. any ideas?..

Bantamflex ,

Please ignore my last review.

Not using headphones will obviously result in getting feedback from the previous video while recording the next. Duurrr me.
Brilliant app, my favourite of all time.

Not great

This as literally the type of app I really needed, conceptually. However, although the sound quality is great and I like how you can adjust the volume for each square, this app has some annoying problems:
1. It sometimes crashes when you select export.
2. It seems you can only export your work to Instagram, which would be a problem for those who don’t have Instagram. I know it says that you can save to photos but that’s a lie, I’m afraid.
3. You can’t rewind or pause your recording.

It’s a shame because, again, the concept is great. It’s just the terrible execution that ruins it.
