A good thing
This app is really good and I recommend it heavily and it has no adds 🤩 but the problem is you only having like 10 stock images and nothing else without paying
Another terrible update
Seems unfinished. How can I load in my own images from the camera roll? This was possible in the previous version, but doesn't seem to be possible in the new interface.
It's also moved to a subscription model, and the price is ridiculous (£9.99 a month?!) but fortunately the app seems to allow me to use 'restore purchases' and the nag to subscribe goes away.
I preferred v3. Hopefully v4 will be updated further to restore the missing functionality. Until then, this is a one star review - and that is being generous.
4.1 UPDATE: Okay, so the developer has reinstated the ability to load in an image from the camera roll, so I'm increasing the score to two stars. Still not as usable as v3, less stable, and uses poorer font style, and no ability to disable the new drop shadow around the text.
4.3 UPDATE: Crashes when attempting to apply edits to the overlay text. Back to one star we go. If I could roll back to version 3 at this point, I would.
Used to be ok, but not now.
I’ve had this app for some time, it was brilliant. Used to it to create some great memes. Went to use it yesterday, and i couldn’t get past a screen without clicking on “Free Trial”. Clicked it, and asked me to subscribe. I have no intentions of paying for the app when I’ve been using it for free. Had to subscribe and then cancel the subscription to be able to do the one meme I wanted to. I’ve gone to my bank account today, and it appears I’ve been charged for the months subscription! I’d like my money back please. How can I be charged for a free trial?! Can someone please contact me to arrange a refund.
