Meta Ads Manager 4+

We’ve used the Facebook Business Manager App for well over a year now, and normally don’t leave reviews, but since they’re most negative, we thought we would.

Do not go in thinking this app has full web functionality, it doesn’t, and why would you want it too? We’ve never wanted to make or create complex campaigns within the app, thats what the web platform is for.

The app is useful for setting budgets, viewing real time results, and being able to close and open ad sets that aren’t performing as expected.

A recommended improvement: the only slight frustration is that when you’re in the app, if you pull down to refresh, it doesn’t actually refresh anything. You have to restart the app, or select home and then go back to the ad account you want for your Ad Spend and Results to update. It would make sense for the refresh feature to automatically refresh these results, which at present isn’t the case.

Overall, really think the app has good value, just be reasonable about what you’re looking for, still 5***** for consistency.

It’s in many ways a good app, but there have been many glitches and bugs recently causing me to have trouble paying. This needs to be sorted out. It’s not good for a business to experience these kinds of problems which cause stress and use up so much of one’s time trying to resolve oneself. When you report this issue, you wait forever for a response. Business is a serious thing and business people haven’t got time to wait for such simple things to be sorted out. There are bugs and glitches galore in Facebook lately. It’s the biggest social platform in the world and it really is about time that all these continual issues were sorted out once and for all.

I’ve used Facebook ads to promote my page for years now without issue. Recently I’ve had nothing but problems with it.

Randomly stopped accepting the payment method I’ve used for years. I removed all other payment methods. The ap has my main payment method set as a backup even though I never set it as this. When I try to change it to my default I get an error message to say this isn’t possible and to try again. It finally accepted my payment from this card and paid off the balance - went to run another ad, ran for half a day when I set the daily spend as £2 a day and low and behold - Ad stopped because of an overdue payment of £10! How can I be charged £10 for a £2 a day ad that started today when my balance was already paid off??

Also issues with Ads being accepted then declined for no reason, only to be reinstated after asking for a review. A lot of these ads are time sensitive and the stop start nature of them is a complete waste of money.

Honestly at the point where I feel like promoting your business on Facebook is pointless. So disappointing when I’ve given Facebook more than £1000 in money from Ads
