MetaMask - Crypto Wallet 17+

Love it.

Looking through the other reviews I see a lot of problems that MetaMask has no control over,almost like blaming Vodafone because you’re taxi didn’t arrive,so I’d like to leave positive feedback because I’ve had zero problems since I downloaded at the start of my crypto journey,easy to use and feels a lot safer than other wallets I’ve tried I have 4 wallets each wallet has a separate purpose,I use one to store main funds that I never connect to anything from that wallet I send out funds to my other wallets,my other wallets have 5 more addresses which you can add inside the app I never allow any site access to all my funds so if anything or anyone did manage to trick me they would only get one address,never been tricked never lost funds never needed metamask support,5 stars from me.

Using OpenSea, Really easy

I tried other wallets for OpenSea to mint my NFT and they didn’t work well for me.. since discovering MetaMask it has been a much easier task. I’ve minted pretty fast and had a real blast. Hopefully soon get to make my last and post the finishing mast.

Limiting my Rhymes of the Times to make super rare and rarely bother to share. Parts 1 to 3 have already plenty of good long term collectors.

Be careful

Be very careful with this app. I have been in crypto since 2022 and have hardware wallets and digital wallets. Today was the first time I have been hacked and it was my MetaMask account which has been completely emptied off all my assets (worth thousands of pounds) and there is nothing anyone at MetaMask can do to reclaim what has been taken. I simply got issued a standard template response apologising that it had happened and a disclaimer that it’s not their fault and nothing they can do. The really perplexing thing is that to be able to get into my MetaMask account, whoever did it needed the 12 word seed phrase which somehow they got but it wasn’t from me as I have it written on a piece of paper, I don’t have it saved digitally anywhere which therefore means they must have got it from MetaMask or the blockchain somehow. There is nothing MetaMask can do about this apparently so to you I say be very careful because seed phrases obviously aren’t as secure as they are made out to be.

MetaMask is a self-custodial wallet. It has no control over your wallet or what you do with it. You are the only one in control. It's up to you to not give that control away.
