meteoblue shows high precision weather forecasts combined with a beautiful, simple and easy to use design. Weather forecasts can be requested for any place on Earth easily and comfortably.
What makes this app unique:
• Weather forecasts for any point on land or sea.
• Location search with more than 6 million locations: search for location name, postal code or coordinates or let the app find your current position with the GPS module.
• Widget: provides a quick overview of the current and future weather for a single location.
• Background images matching current weather conditions at the selected location.
• 7 days forecast: daily overview and detailed information for every single day with hourly or 3 hour values. Besides standard parameters like temperature, precipitation and wind information, unique features like predictability and rainSPOT give a better overview.
• Meteogram 5 days: temperature curve with pictograms, cloud layers in different altitudes and wind forecast.
• 14 days: trend forecast for minimum and maximum temperature as well as precipitation and precipitation probability.

The use of meteoblue for iOS is free of charge. Within the app, you can sign up for the "No ads - 1 Year" subscription, which disables all ads for a period of one year. If you choose to subscribe, you will pay the price set for your country, as shown inside the app. The subscription automatically renews if it is not cancelled within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for the next subscription period up to 24 hours prior to the current subscription expiring. It is not possible to cancel an existing in-app subscription. You can disable the automatic renewal function at any time by adjusting your account settings.

A Treasure Trove of Meteorological Data
I haven’t had this app long enough to determine its forecasting accuracy but it’s been pretty good so far. Let’s be honest - it’s just about impossible to find a weather app that gets it right all of the time. What makes this one stand out from the crowd is the wealth of information it can present. The maps are superb and cover just about anything you can think of, for the entire World. The pictograms give a great summary of things to come and I love the little gun-sights on the hourly summary pages that show you where the nearest rainfall is (or will be) in relation to your current position - a genius idea I have not seen elsewhere.
All in all, a fantastic app if you are a bit of a weather nerd (like me). I can spend many happy hours just looking at what is going on around the World and I can look at it from so many different angles. AND IT’S FREE if you don’t mind a few ads. I do and so gladly stumped up the very small annual fee to get rid of them - worth every penny (and more).
Still the best weather app
I’ve been using this since launch and it’s predecessor before then. I love the detail that you get for each hour. The rain spot diagram, the wind info, the feels like temperature. The amount of cloud, info on which cloud layers will be present, the amount of sun etc.
Also I regularly use the metrogram 14 day forecast, “where to go”, weather archive and the rain radar.
I have many other weather apps, but this is the most accurate and most useful. You see what you need quickly and without excess pretty graphics.
great, but free version features intrusive ads
Have used meteoblue for many years and in many different locations, and found it very reliable. :)
However, the free version makes it too easy to click on ads. Just had to delete and re-install because a Chinese (?) ad promoting “Black Friday” covered the entire screen and was impossible to close. :(
