Not good
I recently travelled to L.A from England UK and decided to try and use the hire bikes to get around. I opened up an account paying for a bike online going to one of the stations to get a bike. Once at the station it said I did not have an account which I did. I then just tried using my credit card in the machine to which it would say processing then declined, I did not end up getting a bike. I checked my back account later that day and saw that 6 transactions had been taken out for every time I tried to get the bike. I contacted the company via email as they wouldn’t answer the phone to which I was reimbursed for 1 transaction. Again I contacted them to which they stated the other transactions are pending and will fall off. I checked today 9 days later and they have not. Be careful trying to get a bike especially with a UK visa/credit card likely hood it will not work.
