Not very intuitive interface

Doing simple tasks and figuring out how to set up some settings is not simple as it should be.

For example, just finding old running history involved going to workout page and then clicking on the number at the top (which was the distance from my previous run). But without any text to explain, that number wasn’t very explanatory. It could have been for some other purpose such as setting up the next intended running distance or something.

Navigating the menus are not very simple. Also the air pollution index was way off. It said it was about 80 for Shenzhen (which is healthy) but actually it was about 180 which was dangerous

Used to be a happy lady....

I received the mi 2 as a gift Christmas 2017 and fell in love. We’ve had a wonderful time with accurate syncing, reminding me to get moving, showing who calls me and who texts me. Basically everything I needed. Then late 2018 we had some software updates. I’m not sure which one did it but now we no longer sync correctly. If I don’t manage to sync before midnight each day then none of my activity or sleep for that day is properly recorded, the stats all show 0. To correct this I keep re-syncing but often to no avail. The front screen may tell me how many steps I’ve done but drill into the steps screen and it will be 0 again. Often the re-sync fails to connect this so I have no history ☹️☹️☹️. The mii band is now picking and choosing when to show texts and calls on the band, not useful! Please please fix this in the app. I wasn’t planning on a splitting up having fallen so in love but these issues will be enough to push us apart 💔.

I had a couple of fit-bits that didn’t last very long and, by comparison, vey expensive. Then bought a mi fit for £12 thinking it probably couldn’t be any worse. It’s been more than adequate, battery life far exceeds that of the fit bit and although it’s getting weaker, still only charge once every couple of months on my way to work.
Occasional glitches in sleep patterns and software updates but have owned this now for over 3+ years so can’t complain. The only thing I’ve replaced are the straps -3 I think.
As I work in the building trade, it doesn’t have the easiest of lives.
My wife had a fit bit, lasted 6 months (£65). She’s had a mi fit now for 2+ years and is very happy with it!
