App very unreliable!
I’ve had this system for the past 3+ years. After a few teething problems it worked fine at first but over the past year the app has become totally unreliable and probably only connects properly 20% of the time. Usually it says “connection loss” or just buffers endlessly, despite having no other problems with home wi-fi. I’m so fed up with it that I’m now considering buying a different system. The concept of MiGenie is fine and it’s easy to use when it works properly but it’s an expensive disappointment when you can’t control it remotely. That was the sole reason for me buying it in the first place!

Hi Linniw, that doesn't sound great, can you contact tech support here please by pressing the help button at https://schneider-electric.zendesk.com/hc/en-gb. In the meantime we would advise that you look at rebooting the MiGenie gateway connected to your router, and re-seat the cable between the two, and or try a different port. For most of the time my zone data is unable to be retrieved due to poor connectivity within the miGenie application as my local internet and connection is all stable and sound.
This is extremely disappointing when you spend good money on what you believe to be a leading brand in home heating controls and are continually let down by their software.
If you are a prospective customer of Drayton and the MiGenie home automation controls, I would recommend you look towards other manufacturers as this system is too unreliable for its own good.
Had this from the very start and upgraded as needed. In early days had a few issues with connections but last two years been fine. Good to see heating when away and put on off or up and down when on way back from a trip. So for me happy with system.
