Monitor your side effects, benefit from expert advice and learn how to cope with cancer. The Mika app has been developed in close cooperation with leading oncologists, psycho oncologists and cancer researchers to offer you free expert advice, interactive exercises and smart tracking features.


Monitor your symptoms: Daily check-ups

Keeping a treatment diary will help you regain control of your health. Daily check-ups with the Mika app are a quick, easy and safe way to record your symptoms. They make it easier for you and your medical team to closely monitor the course of your treatment and keep an eye on possible side effects.


Stay informed: Expert advice from a single source

Mika summarises medical information for you so you can better understand your condition and cancer treatment. Experts in the fields of oncology and psycho oncology contribute valuable recommendations on the topics of mindfulness, physical exercise and nutrition for cancer patients.


Get motivated: Inner calm, strength and joy

One of Mika’s goals is to promote mental health. In cooperation with psychologists, we have therefore developed a programme of exercises that supports you in coping with cancer and its consequences. The so-called journeys let you train your resilience or learn to deal with negative feelings such as fear and loss of control. These guided imagery journeys invite you to listen and relax. Joining in while watching videos with specific physical exercises can help to ease effects such as fatigue.

Our goal is to offer people with cancer a cancer companion tailored to your individual needs. With a view to harnessing innovative data technology that allows for personalised recommendations, we commit ourselves to a responsible handling of your data. Our data protection extends far beyond the legal requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
All data records are stored securely on German servers, which are subject to strict security standards. All personal data of the Mika app is only stored in data centres that are certified according to ISO 27001. Moreover Mika has obtained the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) (Class IIa) certification. The Class IIa certification signifies that our Mika App has undergone rigorous evaluation and meets the highest quality and safety standards.

You can pair Mika with your fitness tracker or smart watch.
Mika uses the Thryve service to connect to the Apple Health Kit. You can establish this connection in Mika's "Check-Up" area and disconnect it again at any time. In the Mika settings you can add or disconnect additional devices and services at any time. You retain complete control over it. Thanks to the integration with Apple Health, you always have an overview of your fitness and health data.
