Life can be relentless, frantic and exhausting – but it doesn’t have to be this way.
Mindfulness: Frantic World reveals a set of simple yet powerful practices that can be incorporated into daily life to help break the cycle of unhappiness, stress, anxiety and mental exhaustion, and promote genuine joie de vivre. By investing just a few minutes each day, you can you can be back in control and able to enjoy life again.
The free app includes the first week of the eight-week mindfulness programme included in the life-changing bestseller Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World, so that you too can try the programme which has helped millions of readers already. The full, easy-to-follow programme is available as an in-app purchase.
Mindfulness focuses on promoting joy and peace rather than banishing unhappiness. It’s precisely focused to help ordinary people boost their happiness and confidence levels whilst also reducing anxiety, stress and irritability.
This app is based on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). MBCT revolves around a straightforward form of mindfulness meditation which takes just a few minutes a day for the full benefits to be revealed. MBCT has been clinically proven to be at least as effective as drugs for depression and it is recommended by the UK's National Institute of Clinical Excellence – in other words, it works. More importantly it also works for people who are not depressed but who are struggling to keep up with the constant demands of the modern world.

Ratings and Reviews
Don’t usually write revues. Breaking old habits.
First off I would say buy the book that goes with the app. Got a lot out of it and it worked really well with the app. Whole package feels quite understate and not surprisingly relaxing. It doesn’t have the sort of American Dr Phil feel to it (though I’m sure he’s very helpful).
I have to say I really loved this app. Just finished the eight week course. Yeah I didn’t stick to it religiously but I did my best and that was good enough. It is a wee awakening that we are enough and that we are all the same. We all need a rest but for me I truly didn’t know how to release myself from the addiction of over thinking and enjoying, in a way, the misery and chaos of restless indecision. This app helped and I’m very grateful. Many thanks to the team at frantic world. If you are thinking about the app but are apprehensive about letting yourself experience a calm atmosphere. and having to sit still. I get it - I’ve been there but there is nothing to be afraid of. I hope you find the peace you’re looking for. Thanks again. Take it easy.
App no longer working!!
I don’t normally write reviews however after successfully using this app for the past 7 months it no longer works! The app is brilliant , it is simple to use and a useful tool to start a mindfulness journey. Sadly since the last update on my iPhone the app no longer works. This is very annoying and frustrating as I paid for the full version. It starts in the normal way so you are lulled into thinking it’s working then, after a minute or to it just stops . I’ve tried the suggested fixes to no avail.
Could we please have a proper fix for this problem !
I keep coming back
My wife introduced me to Mindfulness five years ago, it helped me through a very difficult period post surgery
I come back to it on an irregular basis, sometime doing one off meditations and I did the six week workbook programme a couple of years ago.
This app is the best of all the programmes and it reminds me of how powerful a tool the mind is. I am currently in the middle of week three and it is so helpful in terms of staying grounded and in the moment
As I get older I find the need for this help and input more necessary to lead a fulfilling life
I have a daily -physical exercise routine and an amazing personal trainer twice a week. I ignore the need to support my mental well-being at my peril
