All my calendar dreams come true!
WOW! This is the calendar app that I’ve always wished for. Over the year, I have tried every calendar app, looking for the sweet spot between beauty and functionality. They’ve never quite hit the mark. But I’ve just discovered MiniCal. The layout is perfect; showing the month view at the top, above a simple overview of today. There are few steps to creating a new event, which is done in a couple of clicks. It also remembers similar events you’ve scheduled in the past. Finally, I’m using the free version, but the ads appear very infrequently. I can go whole days of using the app all the time, and only see one five second ad in all that time. I am so in love with this calendar app. Thank you so much!!!
Goodbye Google Calendar and Hallo Minical
History: I have used Google calendar since 2009. I have also used different WebDAV calendars connecting to ownCloud among other services such as OwnCloud. Unfortunately there has been a trend with mobile device displays to grow in size, but I still use a small iPhone SE with a 4 inch screen: most applications are not tested on my phone size resulting in squashed & truncated content.
But wait!! Hallo Minical!!
MiniCal fits perfectly on my screen. Also it's intuitive, very flexible, and far superior than any other calendar programme that I have used on a mobile device in over a decade.

Great, simple app
Combines the simple ness and the way Apple calendar works with a month view you can actually see the events you have on those dates. Love it
