Free, simple and functional
I’ve started using this for my solo handyman business. There are a few alternatives out there with more features but they require in app purchases or subscriptions.
Athough it appears the developer no longer updates it, Mintly is free and really functional for my simple needs. It allows you to create and generate a PDF invoice with all relevant info and it maintains an archive of invoices and their status - pending or paid.
It’s perfect as it is (no problems noticed yet) but it’s an app I would prefer to pay for up front to ensure the makers continue to look after it during iOS updates. Also no iPad version exists.

Excellent for my invoicing, I’ve tried other free apps, this is really the best. And no in app purchases either, and no ads!
