fun but ultimately just another war game
A huge resource collecting and building game with RPG elements. There are lots of fun things to do if you have the time. Hard work is more important than spending money! Unfortunately the end game seems to be an unimaginative resource war between kingdoms, and eventually the unnecessary drama starts to poison the generally cooperative nature of the early to mid game. I quit at fortress level 20 after a month of heavy play and good times in a friendly guild.
Tip 1: a second builder is important, but can be employed for gold. Gold keeps arriving as a reward for events, so there is no real need to pay if you can put in the effort. Tip 2: the merchants are all important, and you should exchange food and crystals for discounted resource tokens every day, especially the silver coins. Those discounts really add up over time and silver is the major resource crunch at level 17 to 20.
Good game but poorly managed.
The game starts off quite different in design but soon becomes a monotonous war game. Levelling up for the first 10 levels is reasonable but after that you have to collect ridiculous amounts of resources to get to the next level which can take weeks of work. The problem with the game is the poor management of it, everybody expects to be attacked, it’s a war game after all. The problem comes because there are no restrictions to the amount of times a player can be attacked in a week or a day so all your time spent collecting resources is a waste when large clans, SVG for example constantly break the rules. The clan keeps attacking a player until they have no resources left and can’t face spending weeks collecting resources again and leave the game. I have been in five clans and they have all broken up because of this one clan. A simple restriction to the amount of resources a player can have stolen or the amount of attacks can be made on them would be a simple fix. There are rules in place but nobody monitors them. If rule breaking clans were broken up and members put back to level one it would fix this but the game designers seem happy for you to keep buying resource packs to grow only to have them stolen. I have now left the game to play a similar game but is well managed. I would suggest you play those games instead
Very slow at higher lv without money
It is interesting game. It has a futures I like. The only troubles you’ll find out is when you going to grow to higher lv. RSS tiles are joke (20k silver mine the highest- when you need 1.3M for lv21 stronghold). Other rss tiles max 400k. Some items are very hard to obtain or it takes ages to get them without paying real money( like recruitment banners- for higher lv hero), advanced teleport- almost impossible to get etc. there is more. Also events are joke.
Overall said it’s fun when you small lv, but going bigger become frustration if you don’t want to pay you real cash for it.
It these issues will be fixed, it really could be fantastic game, otherwise there are better.
