Addictive and competitive but great fun
Whoever came up with the idea is genius both in the simplicity of the concept (Big fish - Small fish) and the money-spinner… how frustrated can you get before giving in to temptation and just ‘buying’ your way up the food chain (purchasing in-game coins with real money).
It is hilariously fun at times and hair-pulling rage at others, be warned bad language is not tolerated, you will get muted if caught misbehaving, though sadly t he reporting is done by players who often misrepresent comments etc under 13s are not allowed as it can get quite toxic and nasty, but plenty of kids under 13 are playing so incognito moderators would be advised to keep the vulnerable safe.
I love the game, but I can afford to play it… advertised as free but it will cost you more than an Xbox game including patches. My advice, read the rules, remember it’s just a game, control your spend and last but not least HAVE FUN :-)
Fun but many problems
It’s a fun game, but the game is pay to win, it’s basically impossible to get good because of all the people that spend loads of money on the game so they have better armour and armour is really overpowered, it’s harder to pop someone, hard to eat someone, they rejoin quicker, they are faster, further split distance, can eat from further away etc. just because they spent a lot of money. A lot of the community is toxic, there is a lot of scammers i also think it’s stupid when you remove a custom skin you don’t get your coins back. Coming back to the pay to win, once you are higher into the game it is very hard to get the amount of coins from just playing the game.
