Usless App Steer clear.
After initially trying the demo version for a few days I took a gamble I now wish I hadn't. The software very quickly became unstable with numerous error codes both from within the app it's self and my MacBook which I installed it on. These troubles were only made worse after contacting NCH support team which to say the least were woeful and disappointing. I paid the full asking price of £139.99 for a total mess of a program. Beware if you should be considering buying this product it is nothing but trouble which you will not be able have put right. Apple after sales service were equally woeful in refusing to refund my purchase money. Beware.

I love it
I have been using MixApp as the basis of musical projects for over four years now, and as a *free* app, I could not appreciate it more. Many times I've wanted to purchase the more delux version, and when/if I can afford to I will. While it is is true that the app went through a buggy period a few years ago (as a negative review on this forum indicates) those bugs were swiftly fixed as far as I can see. In all the time I have used it, I have found the app very intuitive and hugely enabling. It has limitations, and I do occasionally experience some problems with e.g. unwanted compression, but for someone of a generation raised on analague four-and and eight-track recorders, this is almost part fo the fun.
