Effective February 1, 2022, this app provides a redirect to the CBP MPC App for the submission of passport and travel entry information to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Background
The award-winning Mobile Passport App by Airside was launched in 2014 as the first app authorized by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (U.S. CBP) to streamline the international customs process at most major U.S. airports and cruise ports.
A record 10M U.S. and Canadian passport holders trusted the app for quickly entering the United States.
Airside Digital ID App
The Mobile Passport App by Airside was just the beginning. This app also provides a link to the Airside Digital ID App for new mobile ID services when traveling with American Airlines, renting your dream apartment, showing your health pass and more.

RushMyPassport
Airside and Expedited Travel partnered to create a combined service offering of the Mobile Passport App and RushMyPassport online passport application services with the U.S. Department of State. To prepare for future trips, travelers can find a direct link to RushMyPassport on the home screen of the Mobile Passport App, and complete the administrative work, digitally, without an in-person visit to a passport office or enrollment center.
Additional services include form-fill automation for application completion, biometric passport photo services, full-tracking visibility throughout the approval process, and free assistance from passport specialists.

Set up on plane while waiting to disembark. It wouldn’t give a receipt at first, probably because of poor connectivity. Worked on the third try.
It took no time at all to get through passport control, probably because few people are aware of the app. The one line set aside for app users at IAD will probably get pretty long once folks find out about it.
But I got through faster than any other time in history.
Disappointed
I have had this app for years, and always loved it. Am now just about to make my first trip back to the States in several months with my new baby- was looking forward to using Mobile Passport to get through quicker! However, as I’ve just opened the app to add a profile for the baby, I see that now my information has disappeared, and unless I pay, I now have to submit my AND my baby’s information every time we use the app. And you can only do that within 4 hours of going through customs? So...when I land in the States after a long international flight with an infant, I’m supposed to sit there while taxiing and enter in all the information for myself and my baby, AND take photos? With the terrible cell signal I always seem to have at every airport on the tarmac? No thanks. I guess we’ll just have to chance it with those stupid kiosks. I would have thought the app would remain free to encourage people to use it and get through quicker, but it figures this app too has gone the way of TSA PreCheck and Global Entry and Clear and all that other stuff. I understand it costs money to create and maintain all this stuff, but come on. I’ve been using this app for free since the beginning! Why change now?
Fast and easy getting through passport control
I landed and opened the app and was able to submit it before I even left the plane. You will have to already have done the photo thing that’s at the exit to (you’ll see). Cutting in front of the massive lines by having done mine via app and doing a brief check in with an agent is worth it!
