Momento: Sports Scrapbook 4+

After speaking with the guys at memento I can now see the project if this app is going to be incredible, never again have to have that head scratch moment of remembering a game as it will be at your very own fingertips to track and remember for ever, with more updates to come you can travel to world and keep every memory of every match you’ve been to. For myself it was great to add and track the different grounds I’ve been and see it add up. Would recommend to any sports fan

Introduced to this by AwayDays on YT. Great app with a great idea. Apps like it exist but none have captured the social media aspect like Momento.

The app is still in beta, so I think there are still some features missing. My suggestions:
- they have a few recent club and international friendlies, but friendlies dating back a few years would be good
- if there are games which aren’t on their system you should be able to input all the information manually and get the game
- when selecting a match to add there should be an option to sort by tournament or stadium
- when viewing the matches in your profile the graphics are coloured and the themed is based on the home team, but it should be based on the tournament (ideally using the tournaments irl colour branding)
- currently football matches which go to penalties don’t show the score after penalties. More info could be shown such as: “AET”, 1st or 2nd Leg, score on penalties, whether it was a final, semi-final etc.
- Matches which are finals/semi-finals should have a graphic to show their importance
-it would be nice to see game statistics such as goal-scorers
- the momentos show the stadium capacity, but (for game which the information is available) they should show stadium attendance

I understand that the game is in beta and any of these features would be difficult and long to implement. But if some of them were implemented the app would be 10/10.

As the football season is now truly underway I feel Momento will be part of my post match routine, there’s no app like it. The scrapbook idea to add photos to match the game you’ve been to is fantastic, UI is clean and easy to use and the best part is that I can see all the games I’ve been to in one neat place. As a football fan, there is not much to be added, perhaps going further back than 2015 for EFL clubs and maybe a special “cup run” segment for football fans. Other sports have so many possibilities inside Momento and I could really see it becoming the hub for sporting occasions across the world. Can’t wait to see the growth of the app in the following 12 months!
