Ratings and Reviews
I love it
Using traditional bank banking apps compared to this always feels clunky and dull. Monese is intuitive, has lots of useful features, looks nice (it’s important), is designed well, has dark mode and provides nice insights. I think it works fantastically well. Please add a feature to move money directly between savings pots rather than having to withdraw it first, the ability to rearrange the order of saving pots and the feature to have a salary paid in a day early (if it’s possible). I would also be interested in a paid Monese for business that you can setup in the same app (a separate app wouldn’t be as good). I think most of the bad reviews are when the AI customer service doesn’t resolve an issue and people impatiently write a bad review instead of waiting for the developers to respond, I think the developers need to do something to avoid that happening.
Terrible Security System
I opened this account for the purpose of bringing all my spendings to one single account so that I can have my plan at the end of the month. I used it for just 3 days and the fourth day, I transferred money from my own personal bank at other bank just to make sure all my spending is in one account before sending to my recipient. Security flagged the transfer and representatives were meant to review and approve the transfer. I contacted them via chat because they have no phone whatsoever. I was reputed not long and I was told the compliance team are working on it. They truly reached out to me by asking for my payslips and so which I returned to them. For a week, the money has been on hold and each time I reach out, they Al end by saying customer compliance team is in charge. I don’t care who’s in charge. If I cannot reach out to the team I charge, how then am I in charge of my money. How would you explain holding customer’s money which he had transferred from his own bank account for days and all goes like blank. I’m done with the bank. That’s the reason they ain’t topping the list I guess. My money is still not released and they’re in total control. Nothing to do just watch. My advice is better be sure to not need urgent money before you open this bank and fund it because the service to me is unbearable to the uttermost. I hope to get my money soon and delete this app….

Poor company
Hi you have sent email but they haven’t respond to me the way this bank operate is very terrible a lot of people are complicating about this matter this most rubbish bank I had this is real bank that why you don’t care about your customer if this was proper bank you will care about customer nobody should make monese it is waste time to have is account service is very poor. Even when you customer service we are on the line and no agent is picking up the call I’m going give bad review as customer this company is so bad and organised stead of gain customer you are losing customer everyday you guy alot bad review everywhere no wonder why you are guys company is so bad. You guys are just blocking people no reason without any permission we complain to customer service they just same thing we are going tell complain team the complain team doesn’t even care if account is blocked or about why are guy are holding our money when the money is not yours. Your company service is slow and the responses one day this company go in bust it sad say you don’t care about our your customers at all as I’m frustrated I can’t get access to my money because you are holding who is going oaky for bill and other bill if I can’t access my money as British citizen I have right get my money back there will be big coming your way if you don’t .
