Unfair
The game is great but my only problem is that there’s a timer in boss battles. Which is ridiculous, as this takes away the skill aspect in the game, requiring you to have to keep replaying the same level again until you get enough credits to level up your character and gear (or just buy the in game money) since you need enough damage to defeat the boss within the time limit.
Also there’s no feature that allows you to replay previous stages, forcing you to keep playing the same one, and preventing you from earning coins, gems and xp in previous worlds (which is a standard feature for these survival games).
Other than this the game is brilliant, would get 5 stars if these things were fixed
Progress halts pretty quickly
I downloaded this game after seeing an ad for it (which is something I rarely do). I was pleasantly surprised when I played the full game. Was having fun, progressing well, not having to spend any money but watching a whole bunch of ads, and then I hit level 9 and all progress has halted for well over a week. The waves are fine but the boss seems unkillable. Its a rehash of the last boss you fought (lazy design) and no matter what weapons I have I never seem to attack it unless I’m directly next to it which I can’t be cause it does area damage. I’ve tried all sorts of different weapon combos, items, levelling range and the character just never seems to shoot apart from maybe a second or two when I’m near it. And when I do attack I do barely any damage, once again, despite what weapons/items I’m using or what level my gear is. Think a balancing patch is needed. Otherwise it’s a pretty good game to kill some time with.
Literally my first time leaving a review just because of how flawed this game is.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game before the update. I only deleted it because I’d completed it and there’s wasn’t much else to do. I was glad at first to see the updated version so I got it again.
First of all, the update cancelled my most recent progress so I lost all of the extra characters and basically started from scratch.
Second, The level that I’m at the final boss (zombie king) is literally unbeatable. No matter what weapon combination I use. I can literally stand right in front of it (with shields maxed out and attack maxed out, a dragon and other attack aids) and I won’t even damage the boss to halfway.
They added “gear” (so basically armour)that both doesn’t actually show on the actual avatar and is hard to upgrade when you reach a certain level gear. They added beasts as well… same problem.
Basically all these “updates” seem to be more of a cash grab, or funnel to get you to spend more on better gear to win the game.
From my standpoint I’m back where I was. Not being able to do much more, and not being funny, but I watch a lot of the ads by choice because I paid for no ads. I’m not spending more money on this game, especially for how lazy they’ve been with the game design itself.
I’ll probably delete this again if there’s no change.
