Description

A beautiful mood & symptom tracker with a journal that analyses your data and tells you which factors in your life make you happier and which trigger unpleasant emotions

Mood Tracker / Year in Pixels / Diary / Habits / Gratitude Journal / Routines / Photo Album / Sleep - Everything you need to improve your mental health in only ONE app.

Moodflow is a FREE app that captures your emotions, moods, thoughts, and general well-being. Also, Moodflow goes along with you throughout your life, and gives you a more profound understanding of yourself, not previously known to you. Ultimately, this will allow you to improve your mental health and help you become a better you.

## HOW DOES MOODFLOW WORK? ##
You do not even need to write anything down to get a meaningful insight or to keep a diary.

This is how easy Moodflow works:
Fill out a quick survey every day and gain insight into the WHAT and HOW it influences you over time.

◆ 1. Pick a rating for the day from 1 to 5.

◆ 2. Pick the emotions you experienced.

◆ 3. (optional) Write a note about everything relevant from the day.

◆ 4. (optional) Pick the activities you were involved in.

◆ 5. DONE!

## WHAT WILL THIS DATA DO FOR ME? ##
As time goes by, these short entries will gather insightful data about yourself that you will be able to analyze in many ways. On the one hand, a Calendar will be filled with colors that reflect your emotional well-being. This will allow you to get an eagle-eye perspective on your life that you never had before. On the other hand, Moodflow comes with data-analyzing tools, that will help you find relationships between a plethora of different factors and your mood. Moodflow will help you understand yourself better by allowing you to identify the things that bring you up or those that pull you down.

## WHAT ELSE CAN MOODFLOW OFFER? ##
Additionally, Moodflow encourages you to develop better habits by including 28-day challenges. These challenges have different levels of difficulty and will ensure that you create simple but powerful habits. As some have claimed: "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is therefore not an act, but a habit".

More features? We have them!

Good but expensive, superior analytics but slight logging annoyances

It’s a good mood journal app that does have some unique features that make it stand out against others. I particularly like the gradient graphics in the calendar view that show mood over time per day at a glance.

I would say that the activities section when you go to log your mood is quite cumbersome. There’s a limited amount of icons to choose from and you have to use an icon which makes creating activities annoying as you have to use incorrect icons that are left over. There’s also no way to categorise your activities so if you have a lot, it’s pretty cumbersome to navigate through them all.

For an app that’s on the more expensive side when it comes to mood apps, it really needs to improve the login experience especially with activities. Having said that I would probably still use the app if I could afford to, as I find it has the best analytics of any others on the market.

Big fan, paid subscription, slightly concerned

This is a great app. I’ve used it for a year, chose to pay for it after a couple of months to support and say thanks. Pressing ‘insight’ has helped me recognise what I do on good days and when I might feel blue. Then I can do something about it.
It was updated today and I have sinking feeling that’s its making a classic mistake of getting too cluttered. I went to settings to turn off some new functionality but alas no choice. If next update throws more, without being able to opt out, I’ll sadly look elsewhere. Always improve yes but it’s effectiveness and usefulness was it’s simplicity and being customisable. It’s not Fitbit or health app, nor a recipe hub. It’s a mood app and daily journal. Stay true developers.

***update*** Thank you developer team for contacting me. I did my daily entry this evening and spotted the ‘customise’ button at the bottom of the entries. Blush. This was what I was looking for in Settings. Happy to find it and remove the extras that I don’t need and were making it cluttered. Thank you!

Developer Response ,

Hi Simon!

We take our users feedback seriously. Especially from those who have been with us for a longer period of time.

Can you tell us what functionality you wished could be customised?
We will make sure to make it available again in the next update!

Have a great day!

Best tracking app I’ve used

I’ve never written a review for an app before but I absolutely love this app. The paid version to look at correlations has been so helpful. I do wish there was a couple more options like tracking diet (I’m aware this isn’t helpful for everyone but you can turn off the option); even if this is just a red/yellow/green or a score out of 5. I feel like that’s the only other main thing that’s known to affect your mood so would be helpful to see the correlation. If this could be added then I’d be so happy.
