Moodit is the 1 app that empowers people to take ownership of their mental wellbeing. Millions of people around the world are searching for a social media app that improves mental health. Moodit is that. A fun app created by a psychiatrist with your mental wellness at its core. Moodit has featured on Gary Vee’s podcast as well as being part of a UK Government advisory roundtable.

It is a fun and interactive way to share your mood and emotions quickly and simply, and see how others feel too. You can follow your friends and family to see how they’re doing. When you share how you feel Moodit will tell you how many people feel similar, and generate your mood graph to help you understand yourself better. It will also give you top mood-boosting tips from people around the world. We’ve called these “Moodhacks ™”.

You can:
Post your current mood, along with why you’re feeling it (you can use words, pictures, videos, voice notes and GIFs) - we’ve made it super simple and fun to do!
Post a Moodhack to share your top mood-boosting tips with the world.
You can post as yourself or an alias if you want to remain anonymous.
Explore and interact with posts from all over the world.
Follow friends and family and interact with their posts or message them privately.
Chat to your followers, and leave a like, comment or “Me Too” on a mood post if it resonates with you deeply.
See your mood graph to track and understand how you’ve been feeling.
Enter Safe Mode if you are struggling and we’ll help with some breathing exercises or you can send a ping to your emergency contacts.

We at Moodit believe that the fundamental of being mentally well is the ability to understand, articulate and healthily navigate a full spectrum of moods and emotions.

We want to change the understanding of the phrase “mental health” which currently conjures up negative connotations. At Moodit we believe being mentally healthy is as important as being physically healthy. The mental fitness revolution is here and Moodit is changing the world.

Real people, real emotion, real change.

I’ve only been using moodit for a few weeks and have encouraged my family and friends to use it too.
It’s a great way of letting others know how you are feeling and gaining support from them. (A small it’ll be ok, goes along way on a ‘bad day’)
I have suffered with depression and anxiety for a very long time and usually during the bleaker times, find myself withdrawing from others. This app allows you to share you’re feelings/emotions without the sometimes difficult discussions with family or friends. Also I find it beneficial as it allows me to say how I’m feeling in the moment as a reaction to things that are going on and can help me move past that emotion and help clear my head with some of the meditation techniques etc.
I also use the app alongside my two sons (aged12 & 13) as they are not always the most forthcoming with their feelings and lengthy discussions can sometimes close them down- this helps as allows them to let me know how they are coping/dealing with school/socially and in general life through a medium they feel comfortable using and gravitate naturally towards. (As all teens are glued to their phones)
I would recommend this app to anyone and everyone!!! Anything that gets us talking about our mental health and providing positive support is forever going to be an amazing thing!!!

I am clinical psychologist and have been using Moodit as a way of monitoring my mood: the good, the bad and the ugly!

It’s such a versatile app and one of my favourite things about it is the ‘safe mode’ feature. For those that know they might really struggle with their mood, the feature lets you log an emergency contact & notifies them with a ‘track your location’, allowing efficient & responsive support when you need it the most!

Imagine an app that helps us develop mood awareness and normalises emotions, Moodit just did that! Highly recommend this innovative, creative and worthwhile app!

The future of mental wellness

I have used app’s for mental well-being before but felt they were limited in their use in terms of what they offered me.
Moodit provides a more engaging, interactive and dynamic experience. Connecting with others through your feelings helps combat the sense of isolation which low mood can bring, and the hacks have helped me develop a new range of skills to cope when things are difficult.
