Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic app!
This is a great alternative to the classic VM app for those who are in search for extra functionalities. You can use it as an add-on to the official app, especially if you are a fan of features such as manual gear shifting. Personally, I find this specific option a “game changer”. It enables you to optimize your cycling according to your needs while at the same time you can appreciate in practice when the e-shifting is actually helpful! There are loads of other pros which I won’t mention here but one con is the fact that you can’t use the two apps simultaneously. Maybe this will be possible in the future. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the decision to purchase the app! Well done Quinten Adema, you nailed it! Worth every single penny! Looking forward to future enhancements 🥳
Incredible
This App was suggested to me by another Vanmoof bike rider. Was sceptical to begin with but now I have it, it brings another dimension to my S3. I love the app which changed an enjoyable ride to an incredible ride. I love the app and how it opens up the true potential of your Vanmoof. A couple of suggestions to the developers 1. Can you include a clock and timer which would add to the experience and 2. How about more bell offerings. Overall I am delighted with the app and feel it was well worth the price.
Good features but the app is behaving unexpectedly
Features are good. However the app seems to be using a lot of battery in the background for "audio". I also had some unpredictable behaviour, the first of these is the app sending repeat notifications around the battery. I set it to alert me if I had <20% charge left, despite having 90% I got repeat notifications telling me I had <10%. Also when charging I got constant notifications once by bike reached 100% charge.
Another bug I had was when resuming a ride the other day, despite unlocking the bike with the app the bike provided no power when setting off. I had to stop and then "power on" the bike! This one seems a bit dangerous as I was crossing a road on setting off and was expecting the power/speed of the bike, fortunately I was okay but it could have caused a nasty accident.
Mostly I like the app but it has too many bugs at the moment.
