Description
The new MoonBoard App is designed to support the new redesigned MoonBoard website and both standard and LED MoonBoards.
What is the LED MoonBoard?
The MoonBoard LED system brings easy identification of problems to the MoonBoard. Beneath each MoonBoard t-nut position is an LED light, which is controlled by our MoonBoard App. When the user selects a problem on the App, the holds that make up that problem are illuminated by their corresponding LED lights.
Our new LED system gives users access to 1000s of MoonBoard problems in just a tap and a swipe, making the MoonBoard training facility even more user-friendly and accessible than ever before.
What is the MoonBoard App?
Our new (and free) MoonBoard App brings all the benefits of the MoonBoard website to the user’s smart phone or tablet. It also includes several new features. The key features of the MoonBoard App are as follows.
The user can choose the MoonBoard hold set up used on their wall.
View problems.
Light up problems (LED MoonBoard required).
Easily and quickly add problems.
Simply sort and filter problems.
Grade and rate problems
Create multiple lists of problems (e.g. warm ups, favorites, projects, training routines.

Board is amazing, app less so
User interface is pretty poor, clunky and counterintuitive for a company that is quickly becoming world renowned.
I built my board back in 2006. And watched Moon as a firm grow. I’ve seen them iron out quality issues and change things for the better.
Here’s hoping they can do the same with the app. Pay a decent team and start again from the ground up.
New update even better.
Im a regular user of this app and find it the perfect tool for getting an effective and enjoyable training session whatever the goal. You can quickly navigate between problems, set timers and upload videos. The logbook is especially useful for setting groups of problems to train on.
AWESOME UPGRADE
This new upgrade has taken this app to a whole new level ..slicker now in appearance and it has really ticked all the boxes ie ..it now has “your own private problem page “ timer ..a place to upload a beta video and many more features ..all in time for the winter training season ..
