This is a very simple touchscreen-based Morse Code straight key. Practice sending Morse Code on your iPhone (or 2nd generation iPod Touch, or 1st generation iPod Touch with external speakers plugged-in).
Touch the display screen and the device will sound out a tone. The duration of the tone is controlled by how long you touch the device screen. Send Dots using quick touches, and Dashes by touches held down 3 times longer.
The tone frequency is adjustable from 300 Hz to 1200 Hz in the Settings. The volume can be adjusted to a lower level as well. There is also an iambic keyer (mode A) with adjustable dot speed available.
A Morse Code tutorial is not included. You can find one on Wikipedia or on the ARRL website.

Updated for iOS 11 and the iPhone X.

Neglected by developers
I would’ve given this 5 stars were it not for the fact that this app is way overdue an update, but it’s more than evident the developers aren’t bothering with it anymore.
This is great for practice, but the keys often stick, especially the dash, and this can be really frustrating.
Shame this app has been neglected as there’s no competition for it really.
Still, I use this daily to practice code with my son and I’d recommend using it.
Works a treat
This is a great item for me to practice my Morse.
No sound or reaction to taps.
