Description
Get definitions for words in more than 30 languages and boost your language learning efforts with flashcards exported to AnkiMobile. Based on free data, without ads, data collection, tracking or in-app purchases.
The language data comes from Wiktionary, a project which aims to describe all words of all languages in English. In one single application, multiple languages can be installed, currently there are 30+ languages, but with more than 4400 languages in the Wiktionary project there is ample opportunity to include more in future releases.
Etymologies help to make connections between new and already familiar words in any language installed, and example sentences show words and phrases from everyday usage.
To facilitate faster language learning, your search history is available locally and fully searchable. If you use AnkiMobile you can export flashcards directly from an entry.

My favourite dictionary app
I’ve tried a lot of different dictionary apps and this is by far the best of the bunch. It’s ability to work offline is super useful for me personally.
I would love to see some kind of word list feature for language learners. And please consider adding Icelandic!

Very good offline access to WikiDictionary
I would love if there was the possibility to create personal lists of various entries, so that when learning a new topic in a foreign language I can easily review the specific words that make its lingo, with quick access to all their definitions!

A pleasure to use
motî is a much nicer experience than online dictionaries, since it’s very fast and visually pleasant. I often need the etymology from Wiktionary pages — if this were added to motî, the app would be perfect for me.
