Excellent product
My first time using Motif was to create a photo album for my friend’s 40th Birthday. He has a thing about photo albums and has made one for everyone over the years, so it had to be right. I rounded up some photos from my friends, but of course they took their time and work got in the way, so I missed the shipping deadline for most of my usual companies.
Motif was recommended by my girlfriend, mainly for its expedited delivery option. It was so easy to use that I was skeptical about what the result would be. It is absolutely beautiful - hardcover book with dustcover - arrived ahead of schedule and is of fantastic quality. This will be something he will really cherish.

Good App
For the actual photobook it seems like it’s a great app, easy to use and it shows you if there’s any mistakes/things that need to be changed. However it was really frustrating that you could only write around one line if you wanted to add text otherwise it would pop up with a message saying it had to be changed otherwise you couldn’t checkout. I ended up changing the font size so I’m just hoping it won’t be ridiculously small.
Another issue was that it was extremely difficult to checkout! I kept getting a message saying it couldn’t checkout because my postcode was wrong and I changed it so many times but couldn’t figure out how to fix it. In the end I realised that there couldn’t be a space in between the postcode, like other websites put it. Eventually I got it though so hopefully when it arrives the book will be great!

Good app but frustrating check out
This is really easy to use, and quick to create great books. Would like to see more flexibility in book themes - plain white doesn’t appear to be available with 8 pictures/page which is my preference. Check out was excruciating - finally figured out that it doesn’t like spaces in the postcode which it doesn’t tell you - hopefully this will save someone else the frustration! Have ordered my first book and hopefully I’ll be pleased with the results - always used to get my photo books through Apple which were fab - if they are like those I shall be happy.
