Description
MP3 Encoder is an application for converting a variety of audio formats to MP3 using the high quality LAME encoder. It is multi-threaded and will batch convert multiple files at once, up to the number of processor cores your system has. It supports reading and writing metadata, including album artwork, and can create custom output file paths based on the metadata. It can also edit the metadata of existing MP3 files, functioning as a basic MP3 tag editor.
MP3 encoder provides you with a full range of MP3 encoding options. You can select from all of the encoding methods, bitrates, algorithm qualities, and stereo modes offered by the LAME encoder.

This app does convert wma to MP3 and at a reasonable quality as far as i can tell on the headphones. However it does crash if too many tracks are dragged into it at any one time! so it takes a little patience, 5 or 6 tracks at a time seems to be a safe bet.

CRASHES
Purchased, but cannot use it. As soon as I drag files onto it it crashes. Crap DO NOT BUY
Great App
Though there are plenty of free LAME encoders out there, few of them have the simplicity and common sense GUI design of this. Does everything you could ever want it to with no fuss. Significantly better audio quality than the itunes enconder. No bugs or problems so far. Worth every penny.
