Great music player
Please add the ability to sort playlist by recently added to show songs that have been recently imported. Thanks. 😊
SO disappointed with this app
This app did seem to be what I needed for playing my own music stored in Mega. Great UI, very clear.
But.. the library synchronisation lets it down. First, it’s pretty slow but then it stops when your iPhone goes to lock screen. I’ve set the app to sync in background but that’s useless too.
When you restart it, it has to rescan all the folders again before it starts adding files. Basically it doesn’t finish syncing - ever - which means the app is no good. Who wants only half their library!?
I might as well mention other possible improvements:
The sorting of the library could be improved. I want to sort by artist - then under each artist I want to see their albums separately - not just a list of all their songs. Then I want to click on the album and see that album’s songs in song number order. That seems logical to me and I’m not sure why you haven’t implemented it that way.
It could also be improved by taking you straight to the “synchronised folders” list after installation, before it starts syncing. Some users might miss the fact that it’s syncing every single Mega folder.
For playback it would be nice to have a crossfade function.
Overall- the app has potential. But the faulty syncing issue renders it useless.
Developer Response ,
Hello, please update your app to the latest version to receive all new fixes and performance improvements.
New update hinders performance
It seems as though the Wi-Fi drive feature no longer works correctly, which is a major issue for me as it’s my primary way of transferring media.
Words can’t describe how useful MPlayer is, the UI is amazing (if not better than iTunes) I just wish it supported the .ogg file format and adding downloaded songs to playlists without having to have an internet connection. Also there’s a couple of minor issues. 1. When putting a song on repeat (1) upon pressing skip the song just starts again? 2. When searching songs and playing them through that menu they seem to loop as if the search results are a playlist?
