Mr Autofire 12+

I love this game and play it every day but do have a few points.
I try my best and not the greatest player but im not a casual gamer. I have just unlocked the forth world and been playing nearly 5 days.
My biggest issue with the game is not the upgrades from repeated playing which actually gives a reason to redo areas and learn the levels but is the energy timer. This timer means when I have free time I can play 4 runs more if they are good long runs but when world 3 is 12 levels (hard ones) and you die after level 4 over and over you spend ages waiting to keep trying. If this one section of the game was removed I personally would say this game is perfect. I love how easy the controls are and how just tiny movements can make a huge difference after a long tine playing and the redoing of a whole world when you die reminds me of my old school games I used to play when I was a child. Its a great game and highly recommend. if a co op with friends was made that could be cool so can do hard worlds together but not sure how laggy that would be.

As previously stated. Great little game, that said it’s not perfect, at some points will drive you to break out the swear box. Main gripe is the disproportionate amount of coins you have to spend to upgrade for very meagre gains. Also sometimes your ability to get on in a level is very dependent on what the random perk is thrown out there. Some selections will see you smash your way through a level coz it’s given you double/triple barrel guns and a multi shot on top of that and then multiple bullet speed ups and damage upgrade then the next time round your struggling away with the most basic useless perks in the box.
I know all this sounds like nothing more than moaning and crying 😢 And it is. Only because apart from this small annoyance this game would get the five stars, I’ve spent hours on here despite the above moaning coz it’s a wicked game. I love the old school feel to parts of it. I love the fact that you don’t get multiple lives to get through levels. It means you have to actually remember how the bad guys are going to act and what they’re gonna do. Remember the days when you had to be at least some level of skill to keep progressing, well here you go. You keep coming back coz you really do not want to be beaten by a certain part of it and therein lays the fun.

Firstly, absolutely class game, really fun and not a lot of draw backs but the the draw backs it does have are nearly making me delete it now because I am finding it nothing short of boring. Please assume the game functionality, mechanics and really the game as a whole are pretty spot on.
I’m now on the 5th world and have been for around a week, I’ve had the game for a while longer but haven’t been really sweating it or anything so just playing casually and I am still stuck with the original character and am really nowhere near any other characters as well as I still am stuck with the base gun all be it pretty upgraded. Finding character tokens takes waaay too long, finding weapons to upgrade takes waaay too long, getting in game currency for upgrades takes waaay too long - noticing a trend? The upgrade path for characters (both finding new characters and upgrading existing) or weapons or attachments etc just takes way too long when the game is very samey. It’s fun but I can see myself deleting pretty soon unless they quite literally double the amount of loot you get from a run because it’s pretty pitiful at present.
